The WEND Liquid Lube (LL) formulations were developed to enable ease of application while still retaining a high level of lubricity longevity. The LL formulations are basically aqueous emulsion/dispersion blends that allow effective penetration to all moving surfaces. The aqueous emulsion component is a high solids anionic low melt paraffin wax emulsion. The dispersion component is a nonionic wax dispersion containing a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) composite that is reinforced with hard, inert ceramic microspheres and nanoceramic platelets. This HDPE composite provides improved Taber abrasion resistance when compared to PTFE additives. Added to the Liquid Lube aqueous emulsion/dispersion blends is an additional component used as a PTFE replacement, an ultra high molecular weigh polyethylene (UHMWPE) material. This component has the characteristics of low friction coefficient, self-lubrication, excellent abrasion resistance and superior water resistance.
The Liquid Lube products are very easy to apply since they are low viscosity water-based emulsion/dispersions that dry to a lubricating film. Containing no petroleum solvents, they are easy to apply and easy to clean up after application. They are formulated to perform well in all conditions. They will help to keep your chain and drivetrain clean, quiet and operating efficiently.

Wend Wax-On Dry Liquid Chain Lube
Having used Wend's original stick Wax On, I am very pleased with the latest Wax On Dry chain lube. This Wax On is generations better, from application to usage. Be sure to shake well, I will shake after each section of chain during application to make sure the wax is well mixed. Applying to the inside of the chain (or outside if your bike is upside down) results in complete penetration of pins and rollers. Once the chain is coated, let it dry, usually I ride the next day. What a noticeable difference, this latest iteration stays clean, even on dusty mountain bike rides, with quiet and smoother shifting. With the original formula difficult, in comparison to this, to apply and that left residual wax that tended to gum the chain and sprocket teeth, I notice nothing of the sort here. Just be sure to have an immaculately clean (and dry) chain before applying. And when the chain gets noisier, clean it and redo the application. Easy to apply, stays clean, lasts a long time, shifting improvement and is quiet. That’s how to improve the chain-drive system.

All the awesomeness of a fast wax but goes on like traditional chain lube. Perfect! Added bonus it keeps your entire drivetrain looking very clean.

Wax on lube dry formula
I’ve been using wend wax lube for years now. This latest iteration is a true improvement on an already excellent product. It also lasts much longer than prior versions as a bonus.
